Andrea Rovatti's work is based upon things that are seen, not imagined; his aim is to create a visual code suggesting something apparently abstract.

In reality the rhythm of the compostion shows urgency, something absolute, occasionally rock 'n roll, with no respite, obliging us to contemplete the essence of the subject seeing it in some magical isolation yet always tangible.

The images are timeless, suspended; the ability of the composer is to condense all these elements in a single visual, concrete, perception.

Photography is a means of analysing, reflecting, of playing with mundane objects where the observer establishes an understanding which is sometimes also mischievous.
